THE COMPETITION
Many students have reported hearing loud videos playing from two classes: Mr. Morth and Mr. Pecka. It has been rumored that the two teachers had been trying to outplay each other to assert dominance over the third floor. Students and staff have reported that class is interrupted by either “Shattered Glass” blasting from Room 3112 or “No Country For Old Men” from 3111.
“I feel kinda afraid to enter Mr. Pecka’s,” said an anonymous student. “Every time I enter that room, Mr. Pecka will just laugh like a madman as he turns up the volume. This is his supervillain era.”
This raises concerns throughout the whole third floor. The students are scared to enter classes, thinking they will lose their hearing, and the staff does not want to be in the catfight. Students are wondering when the principal will step in to save the students’ hearing from the high volume of these two classes. However, many students find this very hilarious as they started to place bets around the school. They claimed that this little “catfight” has kinda brought some students a bit of joy in their daily schedule, seeing two teachers trying to outdo each other can bring up endorphins within the students as they want to follow that example with their friends and try ot challenge each other. The question that many students have asked is: When will this competition end?
BETTINGS
“I had bet at least 20 bucks that Mr. Pecka would win since he has a smaller class,” said a student in his English 10 class. “The sound fills the room more.”
“I didn’t really bet, but I would say Mr. Morth could win,” said an IB senior. “But it’s harder since he always has a huge class.”
“I had bet 50 bucks that Mr. Morth would win because I think having a large class is an advantage, and he could turn the volume all the way to maybe 35 and claimed that one of his students couldn’t hear that much,” claimed an anonymous student, ignoring the fact that they had actually been asked how their hearing had been impacted.
“As a student of Mr. Pecka’s, I would say the decibel level at which I watched movies in his class was astoundingly high,” said Brody Armstrong
“What?” said Dominick Robinson
This article is a work of satire. But Morth and Pecka’s movies are legit way louder than the morning announcements in the 3100 corner.
