The game this past Friday can be summed up with the word authority, as that is what Fitch established in their blowout performance against the Bacon Academy Bobcats. In only the second play of the game, Senior Aiden Greaves took a screen pass 56 yards for a Falcon TD, he went on to finish the game with 102 of QB Ben Perry’s 121 yards on only 3 receptions. Along with that touchdown, Junior Melakai Maddox also contributed 46  yards on the ground with only 2 attempts in which one of them being a 29 yard run for a score.

The real star of the game however was Senior fullback Shawn Beebe, with an electrifying performance of 4 touchdown runs and over 166 yards rushing on the night. He truly showed what he can do against the sloppy Bacon Academy defense, and will most likely see a bigger role in the future if he can keep up this level of play. 

The Falcons move to 3-0 while continuing to prove they are a true winning team and a viable threat in the ECC division 1. With this momentum the Falcons look to do big things in the future, although it includes tough matchups New Fairfield and Fairfield Prep in the coming weeks. It is a make or break stretch of games to solidify their place in the division.
