“Squid Games” is a Korean show where people compete in tasks to win money. If they lose the game, they die. The new season came out on June 27 on Netflix.
Season 3 introduced three new games: Hide-and-Seek, a deadly version of the classic with blue-teamed hiders and red-teamed killers; Jump Rope, where players must jump over a rapidly swinging rope on a precarious bridge to cross to the other side; and Sky Squid Game, the final game, which involves players on elevated platforms pushing each other off to eliminate opponents.
Throughout the season, Gi-hun confronts despair and makes crucial choices in an expanded, more intense, and more brutal version of the games. The show explores consequences, death, fear, and challenges.
One thing about the show is the terrifying games of hide-and-seek, which often involve the characters’ backstories and moments. Additionally, the final episode was very rushed and unexpected. I was very sad that the season was rushed, and I thought it could have been better.
Watching this series, I was shocked by what I saw at the end. I won’t give any more spoilers.
Overall, despite the ending, I thought it was awesome, giving it a 10/10.
