Vanni Guachione – “All I Want for Christmas is You”
After discovering a love for the song “All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey, my mom introduced to a 5-year-old-me the movie, “All I Want for Christmas is You,” made in support of the song. It follows young Mariah during Christmas time hoping for the perfect dog. When she gets one she isn’t hoping for, she still tries her best to care for it regardless of its spunk. It’s a cute watch and holds significance to me because each year when I was little, I always watched it while my mom would not so secretly decorate my and my sister’s room for Christmas. Whenever our mom had us watch it, we always got super excited because we knew our room would be transformed into a winter wonderland by the time our adored movie had finished. I also had a huge love for animals and liked to think that I was just like the main character. I look forward to watching it again just in time for the Christmas vibes.
